This is a meetup for folks who enjoy going to the opera, the theater, museums, contemporary art galleries, classical and jazz music concerts and foreign movies  --  all in the company of other like-minded arts fans. WELCOME to the DFW GROUP THAT LOVES MOVIES, TV & PLAYS! Join us for a cinema, big-screen TV event or theater experience followed by thought-provoking discussion. We see both big studio and indie recent release movies, but we try to concentrate on movies that have real artistic merit, that are well-acted and directed, that the critics love, and that have won or are likely to win film festival awards and/or Oscars.
